Our Youth Theatre is back on stage with their production of Alice's Adventures. The group have been working hard to collaborate their ideas together and are learning on how they can adapt old text without changing the character's too much and keeping the heart of the story.
It's lockdown and Alice's mum has a work Zoom meeting to attend after a morning of homeschooling. She doesn't want her daughter's having anymore screen time instead she gives them an old card game called 'Wonderland'. Alice doesn't want to play, after all, card games are boring and she'd much rather be on her iPad. Determined to set a good example, her sister, Laura starts to set up the game, it turns out the expansion pack of 'Looking Glass' has been mixed in with the main game, as they set up the level, character, weapon and life cards, a white rabbit appears. Curiously Alice follows the rabbit and the tale we all know begins to unfold but in what order? Determined to save her sister, Laura follows her into the game. Can both girls escape the game or will they be stuck there forever.
