Daniel Pendlebury is a writer from Northwich and a known name in the community. We will be telling you more about him when we come to casting the production. 

This play is based on a venue in a local town, which highlights the everyday goings on. This production explores all aspects of society issues, from loneliness, homelessness, financial hardship, LGBT and the struggle of running a business.
 
True stories of true people in our local community.

The production will be directed by Pete Blain. Pete has taken part in a number of productions at the theatre, including ‘Pygmalion’, ‘Henry V’, ‘Sweeney Todd’, ‘Breezeblock Park’, ‘Remember Them’ and ‘Stags and Hens’.

The Buttercup Cafe will be Pete's directorial debut at the theatre.

Pete will be looking for a cast of 3 men and 4 women.
